This series of lesson plans presents the history of the Holocaust in a chronological format. They rely heavily on the materials provided in the Holocaust Memorial Center’s teaching trunks. Lesson plans also use diaries, letters, poems, songs, speeches, art works, and other primary sources to present history in the authentic voices of those who were there.
The lessons are adaptable to a wide variety of educational settings and situations so teachers can use the materials to best fulfill their needs.
